The default content type AUTHOR isn't manageable

Hi all, i've noticed that when i create a node of the content type "Author" (that is provided by default from openpublish), i can't manage the "display fields" on the settings of this content type.. That is, if i exclude all the fields or if i don't exclude them, i have the same results... so i can't view on my node the new field that i created for this content type (ex. Link).
How can i resolve this problem?

This is due to open publish

This is due to open publish theme has custom template for the content type author. Only way to manage those are by editing template. You can find them sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/node and the filename for author content type might be node-author.tpl.php.

You are using open publish

You are using open publish right ?. In base theme for openpublish (sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme) there is a folder named node, inside it you can find the template for author content type. node-author.tpl.php. If you can't still find it let me know the version of openpublish you are used.

AFAIK this is due to the op features module, so this file is in sites/all/modules/openpublish_features/op_author/theme

I reaally don't know if author pages could be be overriden by a node-author.tpl.php file in your themes folder. I think you have to make modifications in the above file...

THIS IS A AUTHOR TPL from module folder

Thank, i've found the file but when i have opened it i have seen only this: THIS IS A AUTHOR TPL from module folder
And the content of this file where is it?

p.s.: the node-author.tpl.php file is only in the folder sites/all/modules/openpublish_features/op_author/theme

My Mistake!. I copied that

My Mistake!. I copied that into node folder inside opepublish theme and edited. I think it is a good methodology.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks!

Ok, i realized that i have to

Ok, i realized that i have to recreate over again the file node-author.tpl.php, but i don't understand a thing: why are you talking about editing this file, while this file has no content? I have not to edit it but to create it! And if i have now a particular structure of the node author (the fields of this content type aren't manageable, for example: if i exclude all the fields or if i don't exclude them, i have the same results), where this structure is located? In which file?
Thanks

Hmm. yes, you are right. Sorry I confused you. This was because i thought "ok this is op_features, then the .tpl file should be there", but the file is empty...

Well, i have never edit the author page.
I think, this is a panels page, and there are files in sites/all/modules/openpublish_features/op_author/op_author_layout/plugins/layouts/author_page_layout, but also i realized that my author panels page in panels UI is not activated...

Now I AM CONFUSED !

anyway, if you find something, please let us know
thanks

Panel configuration is under:

Panel configuration is under: /admin/build/pages/edit/node_view, variant: Author Page

Views theme files are in: sites/all/modules/openpublish_features/op_author/op_author_layout/themes
