Hello,
I am a developer for jenkinslaw.org and we are currently discussing migrating to a new CRM. So far we are looking into Sugar and Salesforce. We just recently finished migrating our old CMS to Drupal.
We are looking for a CRM that meets the following criteria:
- Roles-based permissions
- Integration with Drupal
- Integration with Google single sign-on
- Integrate with the current invoicing system
- Have the potential to serve as our new invoicing system
I'm wondering what sort of experiences you may have had/ and how you came to make your final choice.
Thanks for your input.

We specialize in integration
We specialize in integration with CiviCRM (and CRM built for non-profits) and get this question a lot.
Salesforce has an integration module (drupal.org/project/salesforce). I don't have any experience with it, looked at it once it seemed to do a pretty good job but wasn't too stable back then (1 1/2 years ago).
Drupal has a module called Storm that has invoice support, we use it currently. I would give it a B-, it does what we need but can be little clunky and doesn't seem to have a lot of momentum for D7.
You could look at building something using Fields API/Rules/Views in D7, but that could be time consuming.
I don't know much about Sugar, sorry.
Of course CiviCRM works well, but is pretty narrowly geared to non-profits (donations, memberships, etc...) not really for-profits (leads, opportunities, accounts, invoices, etc...)
Thanks jalama. We are
Thanks jalama. We are non-profit as well so maybe CiviCRM will work (but I've heard it's not easy to work with).

Ping me on IRC or thru my contact form I'ld be happy to talk to you about what you're trying to do ala CiviCRM. No different than any system it has its strengths and weaknesses.
Houston for Salesforce.com integrations
Howdy david!
I am in no way impartial, but if you decide to use Salesforce.com for your CRM I highly recommend you take a look at Houston Command Center. We developed Houston here at Zivtech for a large nonprofit that needed to create a very reliable and scalable integration between sfdc and Drupal, and which mitigated some of the limitations of the force.com platform (#of API calls, API uptime, bizarro sfdc "logic", sfdc object-> drupal entity mapping, backup/failover of the sfdc data, etc).
It's definitely on our road map to add Sugar support at some point, though we probably won't do so until a client pays us to create the functionality.
Either way, we'd be happy to show you around Houston at the next Philly meetup...
WRT Civi- run away... fast!

Hey Alex! Sure, we'll look at them, and thanks for the suggestion.
Alex, Houston looks cool,
Alex, Houston looks cool, cool, cool! Right now it looks like we are kind of leaning a little towards Sugar because it's Open Source, Cheaper, and it's API is PHP based which is what we do in-house.
I started following the Houston project at gitHub. If we do go with Sugar, maybe I can convince my people here to help build a connector for Sugar to contribute into it.
We'd be happy to provide
We'd be happy to provide guidance for how to implement the connector- we'd really love to see this happen, and we need to work on documentation at some point anyway (though IMO the code is fairly well documented, but there's still a lot that needs explaining). If there's a Sugar connector we can do the demo I've been wanting to put together since we launched Houston: the ability to migrate from one CRM to another w/out downtime (connect houston to CRM 1 and backup the data there, mirror the data model in CRM 2, push the data, test, make the switch). Data ownership is probably more of a concern with a SaaS system like Salesforce.com, but either way I think it's nice to be able to use CRMs as a tool for working with your customer/constituent data, rather than using it to store your customer/constituent data.

I have tried with vTiger. But vTiger need to installed on hosting server. As I am new bee in drupal and I am learning Drupal my own. Can you please guide/help me which CRM should I use and how to integrate it with Drupal? I know you may not have that much time but It would be my plesure if you be helpful to me.
Regards,
Angel
SugarCE and CiviCRM
We support both SugarCE and CiviCRM to Drupal.
Depending on your schedule and resource,
both systems are great Open Source CRM for customization and integration.
And easy for data integration or migration.
Picture your organization 'out-lives' the CRM companies/groups.
Mapping their out-of-box features to your organization needs
is a good way to leverage their upgrade scripts as much as possible.
Then you know what the SugarCE-Drupal looks like for your organization.
We can do beta test on your SugarCE-Drupal bridge and provide feedback.
