Do we really want Y.A. San Diego Drupal group?

Gang,

There's an application in the queue for a North County San Diego group. Now, I don't know how many of you are familiar with the layout of the land here in Southern California, but suffice it to say that if I, living in downtown San Diego, were to drive 100 miles north, I'd be in Los Angeles proper. A 60 mile northwardly trek would land me in Orange County, which is north of where RedHatMatt wants to start a North County group.

Here's why starting Yet Another San Diego group is a problem. I already have subscriptions to San Diego, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Sacramento, and Southern California groups, just to keep track of what my Cali friends are doing. That's five separate groups, each with daily posts to keep up on.

Let's not start up another one of these groups in Southern California and make us all join it just so we can find out about events and happenings in our own backyard. Matt, please, please treat the San Diego group as your own. I, for one, would absolutely love to know what was going on in your neck of the woods, especially because those events would actually be drivable for me.
