Drupal as a distributed OVP?
I know this might be an edge case use for Drupal, but a couple friends and I created a pseudo OVP using drupal as the GUI front end.
Otherwise I could potentially present on something more universally useful... like using panels + ctools to customize a node layout instead of using contemplates.
I haven't been to the boulder meetup before though, so you might want to have a regular present instead :)
What's an OVP?
I mean, I google and got either "Open Video Player" or "Open Virtual Platforms", but otherwise... I'm still a little in the dark.
Tell us more!

Online video platforms
An OVP is basically a way to ingest/manage/distribute video. Think of like bright cove or Kaltura. The basically provide a central location to manage all that versus uploading to youtube and not being able to brand/distribute/monetize through ads/etc.
It's probably too much of a specialty topic and might not be interesting across the board. It might be better for me sit one out and see what the presentation style is at this meet up and show it later.
Coder and coder tough love modules?
Keeping in line with the introduction to writing modules theme that I started last month with drupal.org/project/examples I could do a presentation on drupal.org/project/coder and drupal.org/project/coder_tough_love.
Coder is pretty awesome. I
Coder is pretty awesome. I finally started to use it a couple of months ago and it's greatly helped me debug, etc. If only it could do upgrades within a drupal version instead of between.
Never tried tough love. I'd be interested to see what that offers on top.
Schedule adjustment
Sounds great, let's adjust the proposed schedule to include both presentations.
7:00pm: Online Video Platform
7:30pm: Intro to module writing
8:00pm: Questions and raffle
Does this sound good to everyone?
OS X Lion
I made the mistake of upgrading my machine to OS X lion and my installation is not working anymore. I'll drop an note in the morning if I get it back up and running. Obviously it's not very helpful to present this if the demo isn't working!
Postpone
I'm going to have to postpone my presentation. But this OVP setup is going to be used for a client deliverable in November, so I'll have all these kinks worked out with the next month.
Sorry for getting people's hopes up :) I thought I would just be able to fire up the last system I built and just demo that. Next time.

Rick - this might be worth checking out for your project: http://videola.tv/
I can't make it out to
I can't make it out to Boulder this month either, but the October meetup would be a great time to cover all things media. I'd like to demo the Derivates API project that @slashrsm developed for a Google Summer of Code project I mentored...

With another Media Sprint happening the end of September (http://groups.drupal.org/node/173749), October would be a good time to take another look at how to use Media in Drupal 7.
