Hi Folks - I work for a small marketing shop in Fairfield County. We are increasingly being called on to build client sites on Drupal and as a way to accelerate our knowledge we're looking for some training opportunities in the area.
Can you folks recommend a decent boot camp or training program in the CT / NY area for aspiring Drupal developers?

I wouldn't mind getting in on some kind of organized (if loose) training also.

Thanks
DIWD looks like just what we're looking for...
thanks Drupal community!
Conferences are nice...
Do It With Drupal looks like it will be great, I've attended several Event Aparts, but it's not a classroom type setup. It would be nice to have some alternatives to conferences. The very few regional training companies do not seem to offer Drupal courses. Maybe there isn't a niche for this and it's just going to be local people getting together and sharing knowledge.

Local drupal training
Criana,
Other than the local Drupal groups and the Drupalcamps, the only other vendor I've seen that offers Drupal specific training is isovera in Watham, Ma. (https://www.isovera.com/index.php?q=drupal-training). I've been up there several times and am planning on a theme-ing class next month.
training for Drupal
well of course there's Lullabot - having a "Do It With Drupal" intensive learning conference in October in NYC - plus you can subscribe to Drupalize.me, their video training library (for fee). http://www.lullabot.com/ (& fewer but highly recommended basic video trainings on lynda.com). Personally, I've loved the free (but you can chipin to help defray costs of) MustardSeed Media video podcasts (see http://mustardseedmedia.com/)
Acquia will do training also - http://training.acquia.com/
DrupalCon Denver will be in March - usually in preconference sessions there are training options at several levels, even at the most basic levels - http://denver2012.drupal.org/

I often Google for drupal video tutorials or look on youtube or other video sites, particularly using the name of a specific module that I want to understand (e.g., "Flags" or "Views" or "CCK")
I've loved the NodeOne video tutorials lately (free): http://drupalcamp24x7.org/publishers/node-one
And there's other (maybe older?) links from: http://drupal.org/training-services

Drupal Training
http://www.drupalize.me is a great resource with new videos going up every week. As for Do It With Drupal, there are group rates available if you want your whole shop to go. http://2011.doitwithdrupal.com/registration/group
