The Montreal Drupal Association is planning to meet on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Notman House to discuss the status of the Association, setting up a bank account, and plan a few events for the remainder of the year. Everyone is welcome to attend and provide suggestions.

We will meet at Notman House at 5.45pm, and then grab some drinks at Benelux.

Hello everyone,

Here are the minutes I recorded for this meeting. Please modify or add to them as you see fit.

Minutes

  • Finances: cash received from Ryan Palmer. Two sponsor payments outstanding.
  • Video: Blip TV suggested as an alternative to Vimeo. Andrew to investigate and acquire existing account credentials from Ryan Palmer.
  • Next meetups: Thurs, Dec. 15th, 6-8pm, Drupal Drinks at Benelux. Thurs, Jan. 19th, 6-8pm at Nottman. Simone to book. Ryan to post on g.d.o. Association meeting to preceed it by 30 minutes.
  • Montreal Drupal Association memberships: to be on offer at upcoming meetups.
  • DC New Hampshire report: 1 day, 5 tracks, 30 odd sessions. Free admission.
  • DC Toronto report: 2 days, 3 tracks, 30 odd sessions. $20-$35/per day admission. Separate free business-oriented sumitt a week later.
  • Registration: still awaiting response from government. Louis-Eric's bank account has been charged. Omar to confer with Louis-Eric and discuss approaching the Government at the registration office to determine where things are at.
  • Summer ideas: Camping--Omar exploring ideas. Code sprint in May. Ask for suggested topics at upcoming meetups.
  • Denver. Proposals for group travel to be entertained at next meetup.
