For the last couple of days, http://groups.drupal.org/unread has been showing duplicate posts for me. As far as I can tell, it shows a post one time for each group it is in that I am a member of. That is, if a post is in 10 groups and I am a member of 3 of those groups, I see the post listed 3 times.

Not a huge deal unless someone's trying to catch up on the site.

It's getting to be a problem for me
I'm still seeing duplicate "new" posts, presumably because of the lack of a distinct nid on tracker's /recent lookup? Some of the LA Drupal guys are posting their DrupalCamp LA nodes into five or even six groups which I'm subscribed to, and it's starting to drag me down. I feel like I'm wading through a sea of new postings, but in actuality it's only a few. It just looks like more.
This is FYI, in case someone wants to roll a patch. I'm too lazy to do it myself, so please don't treat this post as a complaint. :)

Where's the code that generates this view?
Can someone point me to the code that generates this view that includes dups?
Is it a view? Is it a menu callback provided by some module? Is there any issue opened for this?
from my perspective
The most important fixup is to get og_panels ready and running for 6.x. Then we can upgrade and look into fixing all these little problems.

It seems like dups are fixed! :)
Thanks to whomever fixed the unread list.
Nope. Dups are still there :(
If it was just a query to fix... :(
fixed :)
in 6.x I added a "distinct" to the view and it works. Yay.
