Come on board to help plan a Drupal workshop for a group of high school-aged young women!
A local non-profit organization is in the process of planning and organizing a two-day event specifically for high school-aged young women that exposes them to various tech fields. One workshop will have attendees creating their own website using Drupal.
I'm looking for at least three to four Portland-area Drupal Developers willing to volunteer their time to help plan this fantastic workshop and/or who would be comfortable in a training role during our workshop (it's on a weekend in January). This is a great opportunity to grow the Drupal community!
If you're interested in getting involved, please email me at jessica@opensourcery.com by EOD Oct. 10th.
Have a great day!

I'm interested in this project. I don't live in the Portland area, but would like to do something similar in SoCal. If you have virtual meetings I'd like to sit in on them, or get other information as to how it goes.
If there is something I can do from afar, count me in.
Thanks,
K
