Hi,
I have created an openpublish site on OP3 using the Publisher's Gazette theme included. I am having trouble creating sub-menus that actually drop down when hovered over or even clicked.
I created this in my main menu in Structure->Menus->Main Menu and I checked the box "show as expanded"
Is there anything I am missing here?
Here are my menu items:
-Sector [Here I've checked "show as expanded"]
--Basic Materials
--Consumer Goods
--Financial
--Technology
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Eric

Do you have a URL we could look at?

My apologies, the URL for my site is here: http://142.4.223.122/tickrwatch/
Notice how I have a Main Menu block on the left hand side bar, which shows the menu hierarchy that I have, but I really want this to show in the top menu bar instead.
I'm at the same point
Hello:
I am at the same point. If I use the Main Menu block, it is either collapsed or always expanded. I set it to expanded to ensure I could see them all the time while working, and then put this Main Menu block in the left side bar -- mostly because it is long so only looks "OK" if in a sidebar. Looked terrible above, IMO.
Looking for an alternative, I took the Main Menu block out (ADMINISTRATION > STRUCTURE > BLOCKS) and set it to -None-. Then, instead went into the Publisher's Gazette (Appearance), and chose Settings. I turned on (checkmarked) Main Menu and Secondary Menu.
To get things into this Gazette Main Menu, I created menu items: Structure > Menus > Main Menu and clicked List Links. I was able to create items for the menu, having to initially (while I'm building) link them to specific pages. This then showed the menu items created one-after-another beneath the branding and above the content.
Haven't yet sorted out how to get items into the Secondary Menu, or any type of drop-down, so I think I'm near the same point: how to get menu/submenu items that users can drop down and select.
Any suggestions?
