60 days out from the event, and we're pleased to announce that DrupalCon Sydney's main ticket allocation just sold out!
If you've missed out, there will be a final, very small release of tickets in mid January at the late price of $440 once any unused sponsor coupons and double bookings have been reconciled. You can sign up for the waiting list at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/node/1288, and these tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
To reserve a guaranteed ticket, there's a few remaining sponsorship slots with ticket allocations available at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/sponsors/sponsor-drupalcon
In the meantime, check out the great line up for the Drupal Business Day at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/drupal-business-day and DrupalCon Trainings at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/training. Both events will be held on Wednesday February 6 and are ticketed separately.

Congrats, DrupalCon Sydney!
Congrats, DrupalCon Sydney! Wish I could be there… A much more ideal place for a con (or anything, really) than Portland, I think. :P

Are tickets transferrable?
My colleague has a ticket for Drupalcon Sydney and can no longer attend. I would like to sell this on as tickets are sold out.
Happy to sell it for what we paid for it. Any takers interested in buying the ticket?

I've been wondering about
I've been wondering about that.
This page: http://sydney2013.drupal.org/register says
"All DrupalCon tickets are non-refundable, however we make it very easy to transfer your registration to another person. Simply contact our Help Desk with your request."
But it sounds like you have to have a specific person in mind.
Yes, tickets are transferrable.
Your best bet at this point is to advertise your available ticket here and twitter and anywhere else you feel is appropriate. Then once you have worked out whatever arrangements, just send a message to the DC helpdesk with the username of the person you need to transfer the ticket to.

Thanks for the headsup
We have nobody lined up. I need / will try and attract a buyer and then organise the transfer through the DC helpdesk. Thanks for the response.

Is there still a waiting list?
I created a ticket on that link, but was told to advertise on twitter / groups.drupal.org.
Anybody know where such a waiting list would be if it exists?
Looking to sell a ticket.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. Fortunately, my ticket can now be available for another con-goer.
What's the procedure for transferring the ticket? I just sent a message about this through the form at http://sydney2013.drupal.org/contact
