My company, This by Them (about a year old now) is in demand and we need some help. I'm looking to make some connections with freelancers that we can bring in on projects as needed.

We would get along if you have most or all of these skills, in order of importance:

Drupal
* Installation and configuration expert
* Understanding of and experience with CCK and Views modules, as well as other main contrib modules
* Theming
* Module development and general understanding of Drupal API and hooks

Non-Drupal
* PHP
* XHTML + CSS
* Flash, actionscripting, etc.
* Ruby on Rails

We do a pretty wide spread of site types, but prefer to do fun sites like http://droge.com and http://philwickham.com.

We are a virtual company, so you work where you please.

Please send me a message via my contact form if you are interested. Hourly rates and work examples appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Drupal dojo may have some freelancers and/or apprentices

Scott,

You might want to check out the Drupal Dojo Group. At close to 550 subscribers (in just over a month), we're branching out to real world projects and situations (check out drupaldojo.com and drupaldojo.org). As previously posted, the services module could provide a ripe opportunity for real world/project oriented learning. You may be able to find a few of 'them' freelancers and/or apprentices. Please don't hesite to subscribe/check out the group. I'll keep encouraging the Dojo to check out what's going on here.

Cheers!
