The June meeting of the San Diego Drupal user group meeting is happening Wednesday June 12th at 7:00pm at the Balboa Park Hall of Champions. This month we will feature extended lightning talks. Please be prepared to tell us about your Drupal work, latest discovery, current frustration, etc. We did this in March on the spur of the moment, and it turned into a very lively discussion on a wide range of subjects. So let's do this again and be a little prepared, which should make it better still!
We'll try to save some time at the end for general mingling and catching up.
Newcomers are always welcome, bring any of your friends that might be interested in learning about Drupal. We hope to see you on Wednesday at the Balboa Park Hall of Champions.

Digital Ocean?
I was reading an article today about Digital Ocean, and remember someone having mentioned it during the meeting this month. The price is so ridiculously cheap that I'm seriously considering switching. Who's using their service, and would you care to share your experience so far?

That was me. I now have three
That was me. I now have three sites on Digital Ocean - http://livingwiththewebers.com, http://thomas-art.com and http://piaweber.com - on one 512 MB $5/month VPS. These sites are of course super simple and fit comfortably onto a small VPS, but I will migrate my other sites there too until there's no more space. They are roughly twice as fast as on their previous 3x more expensive host. Couldn't be happier!
I'll have more details about my adventure at the next meeting.

Referral Code?
Do you have a referral code? I'm gonna switch, so I might as well have them pay you $10 for referring me.
P.S. It'll be hard to run out of space with 20 gigs. ;)
