Tracking activity around Drupal is somewhat tricky at first. I like to keep track of a few modules that are in ongoing development, but simply looking at the issues queue doesn't give you a full idea of how much work is going on in the project. Code is gold.

When you go to any project page there is a link near the bottom to the latest commits for that module. For example, the E-Commerce module is here: http://drupal.org/project/cvs/5841

Copy the RSS link at the bottom, and set up an RSS reader, maybe one you are not already using, let's say http://google.com/reader Note, there is nothing new or unique about this, but I wish I was doing this earlier ;-)
