A bold idea: is it time to reboot the Drupal Dojo for Drupal 8? I'd love to hear people's thoughts.
I've also set up a survey to collect some initial input on best practices and areas to focus on lessons. Please fill it out if you are interested!
Also definitely curious to hear what those still subscribed to this group think of the idea.Read more
As a college task I have to contribute to a module converting it to a Drupal 8 version.
And for that I ask the Drupal Community permission to do this, and to start as soon as possible when I have time.
Thanks in advance.
I hope to get an answer soon.

This group caught my attention. I thought I'd join in the conversation. :) I'm working on a "distribution" for personal use, because I have very similar clients. I recycle a lot of rules, content types, and permission settings. But there are settings that differ among clients.
I am a beginner when it comes to drupal that's way i am always excited to see resources available... When i try to use this groups website: drupaldojo.com i am told that the videos were removed from blip... can i find them anywhere else ?Read more
Hi I want to know is there any way to create book based search.
If i have two books of content type book and want to set up a search which should be book based that is it should have filter where we can select book1 and book2.
As this need comes because in both the books there are some similar content and when
user is searching then the results are showing from both the books.
I tried several modules but all are Content Type based search provider and not book based.
I have put together some Webforms but ran into some problem after colleting a lot of data. I am looking at configuring some simple search or filtering for the different data fields that is in the Webforms. My Question:
What is the Best Practice for searching or filtering data in Webforms?
The other problem I ran into was limiting what data the admins EDIT from Webforms. I have it so they can view the entire record in Webform but I would like to go to selected fields when they want to EDIT a record in Webform. I using Views, and I think it is hidinplainsight.
Thanks for the help
Update - the patch party is on for this evening, but will be off in December. Plan will be to resume last Monday of each month again in Jan 2013.
A group of us are getting together casually at MIT (Tang Center, E51-145, the usual room for our meetups) from 6:30-8:30.
For the first hour we'll explore the current state of Drupal 8.
For the second hour we'll test patches and post our results to the issue queue.Read more
Hurricane Sandy invited: Looks like MIT is closed for Sandy's arrival. Let's meet in a Google Hangout. If we hit the max occupancy, we'll switch to join.me and leave a note here and in the hangout chat.Read more
So basically, I have some entities with dates, and I installed views and calendar to show these dates in a nice calendar.
But then I decided to add a birthday field to my user entity. And I'd like to get that in my calendar which already is showing the date fields.
I'm using the birthday module for showing birthdays.
