I'm trying to create a training system through drupal, starting with a dashboard. Something that tracks progress, gives admins or managers more control, etc. Haven't gotten any good details yet on what is needed... I'm just trying to figure out how to make it work. There seem to be several dashboard modules for drupal, like Total Control (one I'm trying to figure out now), but next to no documentation on any of the ones I could find.
Any ideas on where to start?

Have you checked in the downloaded module folder for a README file? There is often super valuable information about the modules in the readme files and sometimes links with places where you can find out more information.
I don't have any specific experience with the modules you're looking at, but it's probably a good place to start.

Not exactly helpful... It doesn't even say enough yet for me to be sure it does what I want it to!
