Just thought I'd pop on and say thanks so far! I've only just recently stumbled across the Dojo and I'm loving the vibe around the place. I've used drupal for a couple of years and have zero coding experience or knowledge, over time I've tinkered more and more and this Dojo seems like an excellent place to get me to the next level of understanding. I've still got to catch up on the majority of screencasts and the like, but so far so good. Keep up the good work everybody! especially those involved in the screencasts and posting notes etc (a truly great way to learn this stuff).
One day I hope to be able to help others a little more myself but at the moment my understanding is basic at best, I try and post on drupal.org support forums If its a basic question but I have a steep learning curve ahead of me before I can feel confident.
I'm more of a learn by my mistakes type of guy (oh so many mistakes! lol), so I already kind of have a module project in the back of my mind to use as a learning tool/project. I hope to add some kind of form to users profiles which they can use to input there LastFM username. I then need to get the module to pull the XML feeds for this user from the LastFM site and turn that feed into some clever and interesting musical information on the users profile page. Could be Fun! Anyway hopefully the Dojo will help me learn the skills I require to complete this task.
