Simple way for site editors to create image gallery?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

OK all,

I've tried emfield with feedapi and flickr. I only get 20 photos from rss on flickr. I tried the Flickr module, but the blocks don't take arguments, and so I can't display and more than one photoset per block, and I have multiple users and programs on my site. I've tried Image with Image Gallery, but a standalone FTP client is too hard for my users.

What should I use for my not-so-tech-savvy users to create image galleries on their lonesome? Third party or site hosted, as long as I get the original or sufficient quality, I care not.

Advice?

You could create a gallery

You could create a gallery node type and set up a node relationship. I used Node Gallery for Inspivia.com to allow users to create their own art portfolios. It took a lot of tweaking, though, and it may be too limiting for your goals. Don't use the Image and Image Gallery modules, because they limit what you can do with the images.

I almost forgot. You can also

I almost forgot. You can also integrate a third-party gallery system with Drupal. I have not tried this, because I like everything to be part of the same system. Having two systems seems like a hack, and most paying customers will prefer everything to look like it belongs, even in the admin area.
