Attention Drupal companies - FrOSCon 2007 is seeking sponsors. EUR300 is enough to become a bronze sponsor and have your company logo next to MySQL's. FrOSCon is dedicating a large lecture hall with a projector, a smaller "hackers" room, wifi, air conditioning, food for the presenters, and swag, all so that we can have a dedicated Drupal track. Becoming at least a bronze sponsor is a great way to show our appreciation to them for this effort, and to help make FrOSCon 2007 a defining moment for the German Drupal community.

Sounds interesting.
Sounds interesting. However, according to their Call for Papers you have to submit the *slides* on August 1, that's 25 days *before* the actual presentation... I think that's a bit strange.
Don't worry about that.
That's especially if you want the slides to be on the machines available there. Last year I prepared a website instead of slides, and didn't have it finished until the night before. I walked in with my laptop and gave the presentation. Alles in Ordnung.
Are you thinking about presenting? That'd be great! I'm trying to get some sponsorship for presenter hotel rooms drummed up, but can't promise anything yet. At the least presenters can book extremely discounted hotel rooms.
