How do I add "Edit" local task for panel pages

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have created a block that displays a link to edit the current panel page, but it'd be great if I could have a tab, much like there is for nodes, to edit panel pages. Any thoughts about how I'd go about doing this?

Thanks,
Patrick

You should be able to do that

You should be able to do that automatically if your permissions are properly configured.

You know, it might have been

You know, it might have been a theme-specific thing...

The theme I built starting with AdaptiveTheme had that as a tab on all the node pages to edit the panel template. But the other theme I built a while back doesn't have that. So, I'm not really sure how that works. But I know that it CAN work. Because I just double checked, and the "Edit Panel" tab takes me to the admin/build/pages/edit/node_view page.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I won't have time to dig through the code today. Try downloading adaptiveTheme and searching for panels anything...

Maybe this would
