Hello,

I am a Technical Architect working at Acquia who has attained the Drupal Grand Master certification. My team and I have taught and refined career-changing Drupal development courses at Debug Academy ( http://debugacademy.com ). I will personally be the lead teacher for the upcoming semester, where we will teach Drupal 8. The course will be offered live, fully online.

A key differentiator of ours is that no two semesters are the same. This semester we will be creating and contributing a brand new Drupal 8 theme to Drupal.org, kicking off graduates' careers as contributors to Drupal and giving back to the community simultaneously!

The class is part time (twice a week - 1 weekday evening, 1 weekend morning) and spans 3 months. The scheduled start date is June 11th, 2017. Apply at our student-built website http://DebugAcademy.com/apply - the clear path to a new career.

To celebrate our curriculum's upgrade to Drupal 8 and being a core sponsor of Drupal GovCon, we are offering a substantial 1-time memorial-day discount to new applicants. Apply this weekend (until Monday night - midnight, Eastern time) and you will get an additional 15% off of the course price - on TOP of the discounts provided with your payment plan. That means you can take up to 25% off of the total course price if you apply this weekend. Excuse the sales-y talk, but this is a great deal all around.

As a direct result of taking our class, our graduates have received (and accepted) job offers from well known development companies such as Acquia, Taoti, Balance Interactive, BeaconFire Red, Mobomo, Booz Allen, and more. Furthermore, each of those companies has given job offers to students who had no development experience prior to enrolling in the class.

By taking this class and dedicating the appropriate amount of time to learning its material, you will be in great shape for moving to the next phase of your career. The majority of our students are referred by previous graduates, which we are very proud of.

Additionally - we boast a stellar student to teacher ratio, ensuring that the class remains accessible to individuals of any level of experience. There will be a teacher and a TA available during every class, and myself and our alumni are also available in the class chatroom at all hours. With our small class sizes and personalized curriculum, there is no better way to change your career.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them.

You can hear from a few of our previous graduates:

Spamming local groups

How many local groups did you post this to, exactly?

Only one post (+ the clarifying comment) was made. Drupal.org allows you to select multiple groups to display the post on; I selected some of the groups I follow. MD != DC != Virginia Tech and so on, and the post should not get emailed repeatedly to individuals subscribed to multiple groups. It's also my only post in about 4 months - I would not consider that spamming, but I apologize if others feel the same way. Have a good day.

Class starts this Sunday!

The first class is this Sunday. If there are any individuals still interested in becoming Drupal developers through our course, last-minute registration ( debugacademy.com/apply ) or calling me directly for more information ( 571-215-0563 ) is still an option.

Classes will be online twice a week:
- Sundays: 10am - 1pm Eastern
- Wednesdays: 7:15pm - 10:15pm Eastern

Looking forward to starting the semester!
