I have a query actually one of my friend is drafting a WHITEPAPER regards to the Drupal success and benefits which would be really useful for non-Drupalers, Drupalers, enterprises and Drupal agencies in which he used Drupal insights and facts.

Whitehouse.gov is generally not under copyright

but a Google Image Search along with the tool that looks for images that may be reused with or without modification -- and for or not for commercial use.
