Looking for one or two volunteers to help build a Drupal application
I'm an Australian working for Christian mission organisation in Peru. We’re building a Drupal application to support a project that gets food to those who need it most during the COVID19 crisis in Peru. There are thousands of Venezuelan refugees who normally make a living selling on the streets. But now the streets are empty and they have no source of income.
The Drupal application lets people in need register online. We have over 700 registrations so far and we’re expecting another 500 in the next two week. The admin interface allows people to be placed into geographic groups and each person is sent a notification about when and where they can pickup food. We need to flag those who receives food and ensure that we organise another food drop-off for them in two weeks. We started the project using spreadsheets which were fine when we delivered food to 100 families but now we have over 1000.
We're looking for a volunteer or two who would love to use their Drupal skills to help families in need. We have simple tasks like configuring modules eg "Field Permissions" so different roles can see different fields. There are also complex challenges with workflow and making a UI incredibly simple and light so it works on older phones on low bandwith. If you have experience with data cleaning or you've built a similar site, we'd also appreciated your advice. The site (https://alianzadeamoraqp.org/) is in Spanish but we can have the admin interface in English.
If you're interested, please reply or send me an email. I'll organise a Zoom meeting to explain more.
Thanks
David Jeyachandran
