A lot of questions about OpenPublish involve: "How do I do this in theme" type help requests. To make things easier, we are working on the cleanup and improvements to the OpenPublish theme. As part of this cycle, we are also trying to create an OP Theming Guide/documentation. The two efforts actually help improve each other. When we try to explain how things work, we often find a better way to do something and as we fix things in the theme layer, we remember to document the trickiest parts.
However, to better benefit both of these efforts we would like to ask for your help. A lot of people in this group have dealth with OpenPublish theming, so you know the best what are typical tasks and challenges.
Please share with us your experience: what were the different use-cases when you were dealing with the OP theme customization? We will try to 1) document how to accomplish those in the new version 2) try make the most typical ones easier.
