If you are talking about the logo, its in sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/images/logo.gif. Replace the logo.gif file with the desired one.

If you are talking about the site title, you can do so from /admin/settings/site-information

i'm talking about the title

i'm talking about the title but when i go to administer-> site configuration -> site information and i change the name, save the configuration and return to the frontpage, nothing change.

Strange

That is unusual. Are you using any module for SEO or anything that allows you to customize the page titles and site title? If so, then you may check the settings in those modules.

If that is not the case, please check your server log immediately after trying to change the title for any clue.

Curious

I'm just curious.. did you install the site yourself? So far I remember, it should give you an option to set site-name and/or title at the end of installation.

Can you post a screenshot of your frontpage? I have a doubt that it installed properly.

@hajer, what theme are you

@hajer,

can you answer several questions, please?

  • what theme are you using? Are you using the one that came with the OpenPublish installation?
  • Which version of OpenPublish are you using?
  • If you open sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/page/page.header.inc file somewhere near line 18th in it, you should see code like:
      <title><?php print $head_title ?></title>

Is that what you see? If not, can you find <title> tags in that file and tell us what you see?

Thanks

Site Title

Dear Hajer,

If you are talking about the word Calais Tribune that is in black and blue next the blue map of the world, then this is the site logo. It is an image, and there two ways to change that:

1- do as statalk suggested in the first reply. (i.e. change it by overwriting the logo file using sftp or ftp)
2- Change this by pressing Appearance (from the top bar), then choosing the configure tab once you are in themes, scroll down to go to logo and browse for your own, then save.

Thank you,
Walid.
