OG updated for fix to email notifications. I'm hoping that we see no more duplicate notifications when posts are posted to multiple groups ... captcha uses a simpler test and a preview bug is fixed. let me know if anything arises.

The Groups directory is no longer alphabetical
Hi Moshe,
When I visit the Groups directory, groups are no longer listed alphabetically.
I see this order:
SXSW Interactive 2008,
Annotate module
Legal
Costa Rica
...
Furthermore, if I click the button right next to "Groups" which I believe should allow me to sort the list in reverse-alphabetical-order, it takes me to http://groups.drupal.org/groups?sort=desc&order=Group, but the screen info presented to me doesn't change, i.e.:
SXSW Interactive 2008,
Annotate module
Legal
Costa Rica
...
I saw this a couple of days ago but waited to see if it got fixed. Not sure if it's related to the og update you mentioned above. Do you prefer I add this to the og issue queue over on d.o?

busted
something must be wrong with Views or more likely OG's integration. I will explore.
i switched the order delibrately so the RSS feed makes sense (shows the newest stuff),
the ultimate solution is to have a smarter directory page which has nice sections with a featured group, other groups, etc.
captcha again updated
we are now using the css and ascii art captchas. we'll see if spammers have scripts for those.
anon
I just deleted 14 spams by an anonymous spammer. Don't know if they were done before or after you made the change.

quick note about the new captchas
I love the idea of saxofan's ASCII art CAPTCHA, but it's completely and absolutely inaccessible to screen readers. I don't personally know anyone who uses Drupal and uses screen readers (blind or not), but I do believe that using this captcha in particular is a bad idea.
I think that the spammers that are the most annoying are actual humans -- not robots -- who post spam. I'd be interested to hear others' points of view on this.
Accessibility is key
With the growth of E-Commerce modules, for Drupal, it'd make sense to work on solutions that comply with Section-508 and even degrees of WAI. No one would want to download a free CMS to sell stuff with it and fear they can end up in court, like Target did, for their business website not being properly accessible.

I'm pro-choice
I think we should be able to offer users a choice. This site makes the choice for the users by offering up whatever captcha Moshe enables next week. Other sites have other admins which might choose something entirely different. I don't think the choice of which captcha a site uses has to fit into a Section 508 unless that site must be 508 compliant.
