Organic groups

This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

This group is about the development of OG module and related modules. It is not an issue queue!

Dynamic Menu for each group?

Hi!

So I'm currently working on a fairly complex Drupal site, and need advice on the best way to approach a situation.

Is there any way to give each group it's own menu, that dynamically links to content related to that group? For instance, if a menu of a group has an "Events" link, clicking on it would take you to a list of Events specifically for that group?

Organizing Groups

I have a site built around OG and I want to better organize groups, specifically 1.) to separate "work" groups from "social groups"; 2.) to better categorize groups; 3.) improve the group directories page.

One idea was just to create a CCK text option field to select which type. But I was wondering if there were any other ideas about how to organize OG as the number of groups expand?

OG Roles and permissions in general

Hey,

I am wondering if somebody can shed some light on this scenario -
I have organic groups with some other modules like the shoutbox. I also installed the OG Roles.

The scenario is this: users of the group can post items to the shoutbox. The admin of the group is shown the moderation buttons like
delete, edit item or unpublish but when trying to click on any of these options (delete or edit) the admin gets an Access Denied.
How does that happen?

Allow Organic Group Admins delete and edit access to all group nodes.

We have a Drupal site that uses Organic Groups to represent companies. I'm looking for a module that will allow us to give edit and delete access to group admins for all posts that are associated with that group.

Is there a module that exposes this type of relationship?

Is it already known when a new version for OG will be released? It looks like that some changes have been made change the last release on 5 jan 2011, as such it might be nice /interesting to release the current code (if it is in releasable state, of course).

Replacements for OG Forum?

Just thought I should probably join in here - I developed the GroupAdmin module. Maybe use this thread itself for any feedback or discussion which would not be better served by the issue queue.

Organic Groups create permissions

I have just added a new D7 OG module to take a stab at group level create permissions.

Create permissions are tricky, because you don't always know the group context at create time. I have worked around this by requiring the group context to be specified in the node/add url. (see og README.txt)

eg: node/add/group-content?gids_node[]=4
