ELMSLN packaged via Vagrant for easy spin up and try out

If you don't need to know how to setup vagrant and want to play:
https://github.com/btopro/elmsln-vagrant

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeuDKzs6sj0&list=PLJQupiji7J5fygec37Wd-g...

This screencast is a series of 4 videos (for now, will be more in the future potentially) that show how to get ELMSLN up and running with Vagrant. This is the easiest way to setup this system as other methods require knowledge of bash scripting and a clean server to deploy against.

If you don't know what ELMSLN is check out http://elms.psu.edu/blog/post/elmsln-doodle-series

Greetings, everyone:

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), the primary North American professional association for Slavic academics, is looking to completely overhaul its web site at http://www.aseees.org. A high priority is being placed on a managed content approach and the RFP notes a preference for Drupal. Full details of the RFP can be found at http://www.aseees.org/WebsiteRFP.pdf. They are hoping to have proposals for review by June 5.

All the best,

Ticket to DrupalCon for Sale at Earky Bird Price

I bought my ticket months ago and have been eagerly awaiting my third DrupalCon. Then I broke my foot a week ago and need surgery. So, I have a ticket available and all I want is what I paid for it - $400. You can get tickets for two more days for $550 and then $600 on site. This is a great bargain! I even have a hotel room booked across the street. So buy my ticket and I'll transfer the hotel reservation to your name too! Send me a message at e.delgado@pghtechministries.org.

Views slideshow mistery

I'm setting up a d7 site and I have a slideshow view with a block display.
When I'm previewing the block in the view edit page, everything works fine and the images/text rotates.
When I insert the block on the front page, the slideshow does not work. All the html elements are loaded and present in the page. It seems that jQueryCycle does not fire and/or does not find the div container where all the slides divs are contained.

If anybody has any idea how to troubleshoot the issues, any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
also, if I need to post more info, just let me know

Thanks
Max
