Making nodes/content private
I'm currently working on a project which requires me to make specific nodes for specific users private without the use of Roles.
I've checked a few access modules and all require the use of roles to make it work.
Lets say i have a new content type.
I crate a node from it.
I should see a "private" or "public" check box available.
If i check "private" and save the node, i should see a "Permission/Grant" tab on the view page.
Inside "Permissions/Grant" i'll need the ability to add specific users who have rights to see this node.

March Meetup
Please join us at the March instance of the St Louis Drupal Users Group.
Place: The St. Louis History Museum, the Millstone Rm
Time: Thursday 29-March @ 7 pm central
We've pushed the meeting out to the last Thursday in the month this time around because Drupalcon will be happening during the previous week. At least two from StL will be attending - Julia Koelsch, from Spry Digital; and Jeff Geerling, of Midwestern Mac, LLC.
With so much new information and experience in the room we're really looking forward to basking in 2 hours of reflected Drupalcon.

So, what say you? Thursday evening, 23rd Feb from 7pm to 9pm in the Millstone room, 2nd floor of the History Museum. Hope you can make it.
As always the floor is open for topic suggestions.

Hey everyone,
First thing you know it, January's almost 1/3 over. Where'd it go? It's sort of short notice, but let's plan up a meeting for the 19th at the History Museum. Eric has reserved the Millstone room on the second floor from 7p-9p.

Has anyone ever mixed Codeigniter with a Drupal site?
I'm wondering if it is even a possible thing to do, there are features of Codeigniter I would like to possibly utilize, not necessarily within Drupal.

At the October meeting was there any discussion of when and where we would meet next?
Considering Thanksgiving in November and Christmas in December, it may be best to have only one more meeting this year in early December.
Your thoughts on our next date and location are appreciated.

Is there a meeting this month?
I'm new here and was wondering if there is an October meeting in the works.
I'm in an organization that is just starting with Drupal. I would love to meet local people to learn a bit more about the platform, understand what I am capable of doing with my skillset, and find local resources to tap for freelance work that is beyond my current body of knowledge.

Our September Meeting will be 7:00 PM Thursday, September 29, at the St. Louis Artist's Guild, Two Oak Knoll Park, in Clayton.
We will meet in the Children's Gallery on the second floor. (For those of you who came in August, this is the same area.) Enter the building through the side door with the ramp, and look for the stairway just ahead and on the right, a short distance inside. Go up one flight and then through the second floor doorway, into the main hall. Look for an open gallery area to your right at the end of this hall. That's where we will meet.

Hey everybody,
As I have said before, I will not be here for the September meeting, if that meeting is to be held on our accustomed third Thursday.
Read moreCalendar/Views problem
Hey Guys, I've got a small project Where I need all of the node's referenced nodes values to show on a calendar page.
I've got the view set up to show everything I need, but the problem is that it only shows a given node's first reference even if there are more listed.
If it's something you could help out with, let me know.
May require some intimate knowledge of how the Calendar module works.
If you are interested in helping let me know and I'll set you up with a test account.

After much trial and error, I finally got Aegir running in the cloud! This is my first time trying either Aegir or Amazon's Web Services. Being able to provision a new Drupal site with a few clicks is a very neat trick.
I'd be eager to discuss these topics at the September meetup.
