blocks

I have created a spotlight block to appear in the right sidebar. I have created a content type: "spotlight" to be referenced on certain other content types. Only thing is, my spotlight content is not appearing in the spotlight block in the right sidebar. Any ideas?

Har en liten fråga bara, Finns det nån module för att visa ett rss feed (från en annan sajt än min egen) i en block? Har kollat runt lite men hittar inte nån som är till för bara just detta.

Om det inte finns nån "enkel" lösning så föklara gärna hur jag kan göra det med hjälp av views o.s.v.

OK, for some reason, the configure 'thing' (someone give me a better word) that appears when logged in as an admin when you hover over certain objects is taking over. The block for the configure is overlapping content I need to click on! Specifically Panels.

When I say configure, let me clarify that the link will look something like this:
mysite.com/admin/build/block/configure/...

We are new to Drupal development and are developing/migrating and existing bi-lingual newspaper website to Drupal 6. Currently we are stuck with some “major”, at least we think so, problems. I would highly appreciate if the community could lead us into directions to solve any of these problems.

We are using Drupal6 with following modules: CCK, Views, PathAuto, i18n. We have CCK content type named “Article”.

Jag är en hyffsat färsk, men imponerad Drupal användare. Men ibland kör man fast och detta forum verkar ha många kompetenta förmågor som förhoppningsvis kan tipsa i följande fall.

På min site kan man registrerar sig "Bloggare" eller "Normal användare" (detta är alltså roller). Bloggare får access till att skapa "content type blog" och följdaktiligen egen blogg på /blog/[Uid]. Nu till mitt problem:

For sites that like to use a cache to serve the full page (boost, drupal core cache, ect...), but still would like to have more dynamic content in a block; loading of blocks via ajax seems like a good way to accomplish this. I've already accomplished this with the boost module and I'm wondering if/how I should abstract this out to be a generalized solution.

Simple way

Below is the simple way to do it, for one or 2 blocks it works. For anything more then that it would probably have a negative impact since it's doing a full bootstrap for each block.

I'm very happy with these and impressed, but I'm not able to do a simple thing.
I have a block below each geotagged post, using this macro:

I have recently switched to Drupal from Joomla, and my question may be basic:

I'd like to create a content type for adding testimonial quotes to any page. I'd like to have a quote field and a credit field designated so I can designate styles automatically.

I figured out how to make a fieldgroup with my two fields.

Is there a good way to repeat this fieldgroup three times in a page or story, and have it be easily editable so that you can have different quotes on each page?
