Knox County Public Library RFC

I know at least a couple of shops in TC have worked with libraries in the past, so I'm posting this RFC (posted to DRUPAL4LIB) here:

"The Knox County Public Library has issued an RFP for Drupal website development, installation and support. This RFP can be found at http://www.knoxcounty.org/purchasing/solicitations.php under "Website Development", Bid Number: 249. Responses must be received by 2:00 PM August 31, 2010. Bidders must also complete a Vendor's List Application to register with Knox County prior to submitting their response. This application is available for download from the same web page as the RFP.

All questions concerning the RFP or the process must be directed to the representitive of the Knox County Purchasing Deparment as specified in the RFP, not to the Library."

I'd like to get everyone's input on moving the bulk-type operations out of the main Pathauto module and into a new separate or sub-module called 'Pathauto Bulk Update'.

See http://drupal.org/node/713238 for the Pathauto RFC issue

RFC: OpenID roadmap

Based on an email conversation I had with Darren, Evgeny, Aron Novak and Walkah I pulled together this roadmap for advanced OpenID features (attribute exchange, provider, etc).

The goal is to reduce the overall number of modules involved in deploying OpenID attribute exchange features, to expand on existing content profile integration, to remove dependencies on modules that are not used in all use cases and to push changes into OpenID and OpenID Provider where it makes sense.

Request For Comment(RFC): User Reports Module

I'm excited about building a module that, if designed properly, would useful to others. I see how it might be useful for the development of a human resources department for personnel reviews and really any place where reports or static documents pass from one party to another.

I am building a community site based around an organization. We produce custom reports for many of the community members and provide them through a very simple and custom php app on our website. I want to move this to drupal to take advantage of the other powers to build community, as well as flexibility to improve access to these reports for archive purposes.

This has been floating around in my head for several months, but I've not developed a drupal module before so I crave review, comment and even participation.
