I Drupal-världen förekommer ibland svårigheter att uttrycka sig, så att läsaren uppfattar rätt eller förstår vad man menar.

Som exempel skulle jag vilja bidra med förslag på förbättringar av de olika uttrycken som förekommer på olika platser under Behörigheter

"Visa publicerat innehåll" motsvarar en rättighet att se ett publicerad innehåll,
dvs vilka som kan se på innehållet och alltså inte vilka som kan visa det!

Inom de olika uttrycken förekommer ofta vilseledande verb

Hi,

I am using organic groups 7x.2x and i am able to create groups from site administrator panel.
But my site will also allow registered users to create new groups(public and private). May be site administrator can approve the new requests.
Can any one tell me how to do this.
Do i need to create views for it to capture new group details or is the og provides feature this feature already.
Thanks in advance.

Looking for any advice from any large city government drupal site admins that have figured out a good way to set user permissions in a way that is most effective. Do you have a smaller, nimble group of power users who update content and are good writers, but a much larger group of contributors who can write and submit but can't approve? Trying to figure this out as we move our city site to Drupal over the next year or so. thx.

I have a question which may be answered somewhere, but I've taken a bit of time to search and still haven't found the answer.

I am also not sure which group would be the best place to post my quandary, so I am hoping this group is it.

I have a Workflow where some states for content should be set by a user, while another state should not be settable by a user; it needs to be set when a variable on a piece of content changes to a certain value.

When I click the "Go there now" link after entering and submitting the basic site creation credentials, I am served up the index page on the root level of the server, and not the default home page for the site I just created. In addition to this, I am not getting the email I am supposed to get after successful site creation. Since I am not a server administrator, I can only speculate that the problem might have to do with permissions not being set correctly and/or paths are not set correctly in certain files (such as .htaccess or httpd.conf).

A bit of context:

Suggesting that taxonomy be available as Custom Content Type (IE:create content > taxonomy term) and/or that permission option "edit own taxonomy terms" be made available.

This would eliminate the need to add taxonomy terms when a new node is created that also functions well as a taxonomy term and also seems to support the D7 field taxonomy functionality.

I know this is the wrong place to discuss this, but it has already been raised in the right place with no successful resolution, so I am going to try here and hope I don't get flamed too badly. Basically, the admin menu admin/user/permissions has stopped working. I can check tickyboxes and hit submit, but none of my changes take effect.

Mình tạo ra các roles có tên là administrator, Editor,... và grant các quyền thích hợp cho chúng. Mình muốn các user thuộc nhóm administrator có thể grant các quyền cho các nhóm roles khác (chỉ các quyền mà nhóm administrator này có).
Nhưng khi mình grant cho nó quyền "administrator permisson" thì vào nó lại show ra cả những perm mà nó không được gán.
Có cách nào để làm điều này ko vậy, mình định hack code hoặc viết java để ẩn các dòng có uncheckbox đi. :)

Sitter med en sida och ska se till att rätt användare få göra rätt saker. Det är väldigt enkelt, en användare - admin - ska få göra mycket, men inte göra egna Pages. Dock ska admin få redigera redan gjorda Pages. Med andra ord har jag valt bort allt som har med Page att göra på Rättigheter-sidan, men har lämnat "Edit any page content" förbockad.
