A quick heads-up that I've just added a Birds of a Feather session at DrupalCon Barcelona, to discuss Drupal for GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums). If anyone with interest or experience in using Drupal for this is going to be there next week, it'd be great to see you there.

The Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) is planning to replace our current Drupal 6 website with a mobile-friendly Drupal 7 website. We are seeking to contract with a creative and experienced Drupal developer to build and deliver a complex and feature-rich Drupal 7 installation, including the design of a customized responsive theme, and migration of content from our existing Drupal 6 site.

The deadline for proposals is 3:00pm CDT on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Hey guys! I took another look at the Colorbox situation this morning (module and plugin pages) and tried something I found, but it still doesn't work for me. Could someone possibly either send me the plugins they have via zip or give me the location where I can download ALL the plugins I need? I would love a screencap of the file structure within the libraries folder, if it's not too much trouble, so I know what to shoot for. I can't believe it's this hard to set it up!

The Google Books module http://drupal.org/project/google_books is a filter module and an API for the Google Books service, that permits a user to insert rich Google book data, cover images, and inline book readers into nodes via filters with data retrieved from the http://books.google.com domain. The API also allows data to be pulled into flat arrays indexed by the text biblio field identifiers like 'author' or 'title.'

My organization is looking into using Drupal, so I am very new to this. I have noticed the various modules that would seem very beneficial for us, and one in particular is the OCR (optical character recognition) module for Drupal. My question(s) is has anyone tried out the OCR module on older printed text prior to the mid-nineteenth century, and if so what was your results, and what is your opinion of this module? Are their any other OCR modules that may work within Drupal that are fairly easy to use? I would like to find other options that may be available.

At Index Data I've lately been working on a Drupal module for Pazpar2 (http://www.indexdata.com/pazpar2), our XML webservice based metasearch engine. Check it out in the git sandbox (http://drupal.org/sandbox/skomorokh/1103554) I've created (D6 for now but a D7 branch is on its way). While very much under development, basic functionality is all there and it would be great to get feedback as I polish it for release.
