Yesterday and tonight I threw together a module and feature for embedding etherpads from PiratePad.net into Drupal 6 sites: https://github.com/markwk/piratepad and https://github.com/markwk/atriumed_piratepad

In the Winter Semester (begins in January of 2012 through early May) I will be teaching a 15-week course at GVSU called Advanced Writing for the World Wide Web. (WRT 380-6). It is a course designed for writing majors and minors, but it is also popular with students in advertising, computer science, journalism, business, and other areas).

The course will meet once a week on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:50 on the Allendale campus in one of the computer labs.

I'm looking for advice on the best way to set up my author site using drupal. My domains are from godaddy.com and my hosting is through ipage.com. Anyone know of the themes or modules for this type of site to support blogging, articles, ect.? I was finally able to figure out cvs and upload the writing_assignment module to drupal.org. Link is here:

The code is the same as what I posted last week -- had a really busy week so no coding for me. But at least now there's a proper place for bug reporting/feature requests so have at em.

BTW, the code won't be available for up to 12 hours until Drupal's automatic package creator runs its course.

Hi everyone. I've been working for several months now on a new social learning module for Drupal called “Writing Assignment.” This module will make it simple for a teacher to assign students to write on a topic and then for the writing to be read, commented on, and rated by other students. I think the code is to a point where I can show it to other people and not feel too embarrassed :>
