The summit is approaching fast, and we could use some volunteers! If you are interested and are not already volunteering in some capacity, please send me an email ASAP. There are several things we need help with both before and during the event. In return, you will get free admission to the summit, a warm fuzzy feeling, and the knowledge that you have helped spread the Drupal love in Houston.

Please help spread the word to anyone you know in our area and beyond who is interested in web design and development, as this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn not only about Drupal, but web technology in general.

Hi All,

I just want to report back that DrupalCamp Austin was awesome. While I was only able to attend on Saturday, I had a great time, talked to a lot of great people, and was inspired buy a few very nice sessions.

Everyone should know that Jason Smith represented for Houston in a big way, and he did a really nice job with his presentation. I hear Bronius also did a great job, and I am sorry I was not there for it.

It was also very nice seeing many of you there, and I am quite happy we had a sizable Houston contingent at the event. Go Houston!

Since our usual 4th Tuesday is during the week of Thanksgiving, I wondered if we should meet the following week instead? What is your preference?

Anyone up for postponing til the 31st? I'll have to check on the availability at Caroline, but I was recently reminded that both OpenCamp and DrupalCon will be the week before, and it might be fun to rehash anything interesting we get out of these at a meeting shortly after.

Hi everyone, First, let me say thanks again to all who attend our meetings, and who actively contribute to the group in various ways. You rock.

Along those lines I am hoping some of you would like to get together again and work on the group site. I think we learned a ton from the FBWC build day, and could apply some of that to our group's site.

Jason has done quite a bit of configuration already, and now that it is linked from the FBWC page, I think it is a great time to play with it again if some of you are up for it.
