Thank you!
I just wanted to say thank you to all who came to Stag's Head on Saturday. I am so impressed that so many of you made it out over a holiday weekend, so thank you very much!
I hope to see a lot of you back at Caroline Collective on Saturday so we can get our hands dirty with some code. Read more and RSVP here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/69013
I will be sure and post a list of resources from Saturday's presentation soon.

Hi all,
Who would be up for an all-day coding event on May 29th (a Saturday)?
We could get together and build a charity site, a web app, a... well, anything really. Ideas are welcome!
This is a great way for us to learn from each other, and I think it would be a lot of fun. Please let me know if you are in, and how you think you could best contribute to the project (design, content, site building, theming, module development).
Perhaps some sponsors might be willing to contribute to a pizza fund even. :)

I think a discussion about location would be useful. It sounds like the Stafford meeting was a great success, both in quality and attendance.
Does Stafford/Sugar Land actually work better for most?
I suppose there are a few ways to go about this. We could take a poll and determine which part of town is best for most. We could also rotate the meeting and try to vary the location. That said, finding practical venues is a challenge in itself.

It's been a while since we've had an event, but I'd love to get together in Feb. Any suggestions for a location?
Looking at Tuesday, Feb 23rd.

My first Drupal site is up live....
www . e x c l u s i v e g e n e t i c s . com
It is an auction site for bucking bulls. I used the ecommerce module and modified the ec auction sub-module liberally. I learned alot, and think Drupal's biggest strength is its flexibility. I will definitely develop more sites using Drupal.
Critiques, suggestions, and questions are welcome.
Also I would like to Thank Geri and Katherine of this list for all their off-list help. I really appreciate the members of this group being willing to share ideas and get better at this.
:-)

Does anyone have a suggestion or a specific problem to address? I suspect we could all benefit from some meetings, and it might even be fun!
I'd love to organize something for June or July, but I think a topic would be a good start.
Any suggestions for location?

Hi Houstonians,
I am new(bie) to Drupal. I have a fastrack web project that I thought Drupal would save me time on. Then I read the 'pro drupal development book' and realized customizing may be a project unto itself. Im interested in anybody that is willing to let me bounce ideas off, ask questions and advice, and maybe even hire for tutoring or development if I get desperate. Living in the Houston Heights.
Thanks,
Bruce
