According to DA's (Drupal Association) training initiative to promote Drupal, 14 September 2012 is the next Global Drupal Training Day.

Lets get the community in our area together and hold a meetup/training session in Pune on 9/14.

Agenda of this discussion is to
- find volunteers
- build teams
- plan the training

Being a n00b to Drupal and not being able to attend the 'Drupal Intro Camp NYC' in January, what books/resources would you all recommend that I can not only get drupal off the ground, but learn about things UberCart integration or use of EventBrite (long...ok, not so long, story about what my goals are and how I would need to be able to have students book classes using either of those tools).

If you can get through prepping all of this before the sprint, you will have a head start once you get there, otherwise I will direct people to go through this info when they are getting started.
