ACL Permission UI && DO project similarity block?

http://drupal.org/project/content_access
http://drupal.org/project/nodeaccess
I think there are some more access / permission UI modules but those two look for me nearly absolutely identical except content_access uses ACL for user permissions.

BTW: I see sometimes a block "Recommendation: Related projects" when accessing projects.. who is maintaining those information? Is it automatically tag based? Because in both cases each other isn't showing up.

First implementation of og_access with ACL

Hi,

I'm a little bit frustrated by the User access implementation proposed for OG, it's too much complicated and i don't think that TAC/CA/ACL/OG combination with many many many hacks is the right way (but it's a very very good work too).

So, i really need for my project, this simple things:

1) Organic Group
2) User can post in Public or in their suscribed groups
3) AND they must have the possibility to grant other users that can be outside of his group

Role and User Access Control

I eventually want to hunt for someone to do development on this idea, but first I'd like to find out how it can be designed to be of greatest benefit to the community.

Introductions and yes, I've already purchased my ACL Music Fest ticket for September!

Hi,

I'm a Drupal user and would enjoy occasionally meeting to talk about Drupal and learn more about it. I'm currently in the process of launching my company's web site which will be, of course, powered by Drupal. But I have a ways to go and since I'm a Drupal user and not a developer, I'll be relying heavily on Robert Douglass' book and drupal.org forums to learn my way around.

With regard to the Austin Drupal Group, I can help some with the planning and execution of events. I'm not a developer, just a Drupal user, but I can help with setting up the logistics for local events such as asking folks to provide a location, etc. I hope we can find some other Drupal users/developers in the Austin area to get things going!
