Are there any static files in Drupal that could be monitored for unauthorized access? In light of the latest vulnerability/exploit, I was wondering if perhaps a HIDS, or some type of file integrity solution could be used to monitor specific files related to Drupal that would indicate a compromise.

Just read a good post by Marcus from Guidelight Business Solutions on Enhancing Nagios to monitor Drupal using Drush commands. If you are using Drush, Nagios, or Drupal it is a very good techy read!

Are you using or thinking about using Nagios to do system monitoring and are curious at options for monitoring information about your drupal site? Consider using drush to create the custom commands in Nagios.

I was wondering what the current status of graphing/monitoring utilities & pantheon is - I've done a bit of searching, and all I've found is a mention by Greg Coit in June that munin was probably going to be chosen. I'm quite familiar with munin, and have started to wrap my head around bcfg2. (we mostly use puppet at our org) So, I'd like to contribute, but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be duplicating any work that's already been done. We're looking to deploy a large multisite on pantheon where I work in the next year, and good monitoring will be essential...
