I've submitted a new module, Date Tweaks, that enhances the Date Module to provide the following functionality
* Adds in Baron Schwartz's date-time javascript functionality
* Maintains the date's duration - so when the start date changes, the end date also changes
* Adds in Willington Vega's dropdown time picker. By default, this timepicker replaces the standard timepicker
Module for definitions
Right now we are developing a module to add definitions to a Drupal site: Through the backend you can add words and synonyms together with descriptions of the words.
It works as a input filter, the words from the list will get a span and a dotted border-bottom. When hovering over the word, de description appears in a tooltip (qtip).
When ready the module will be announced at http://communiceerjekerk.nl and also contributed at drupal.org.
There are kind of similar modules, but not with the exact desired functionality. AND not for Drupal 7. (this module will only be developed for D7)

For anyone that is using or wants to use sermonaudio.com, I have put together a module that integrates into their SOAP API. The main feature that I needed was mass importing of sermons into sermonaudio.com. This is accomplished through views, cck, and vbo. I am still in the process of writing the help files to go along with the module, but just wanted to check out here if there is any interest in it and maybe get some ideas about features that would be nice to have in the module as well.

Bible.org has made a module to easily add the NETBibleTagger (http://labs.bible.org/NETBibleTagger) javascript to the footer of each page on a drupal site. And, it allows you to customize the popup behaviour from the Site Config menu. It is currently being used on bible.org and numerous other ministry sites.
You can find the page on the module here: http://labs.bible.org/blog/netbibletagger_drupal_module

So, I made it to the last few minutes of the Churches and Ubercart BoF at Drupalcon DC and may not have the full picture on what was discussed. As such, I'm going to use this thread to just spec. out what I see as the desired solution for enabling church websites (and other non-profit organizations) to take donations online. It seemed like the folks in the BoF were willing to get behind a proposal, fund it, and start implementing it on their various sites.

I've created a wiki for the specifications: http://groups.drupal.org/node/20933
Let's keep the discussion going here.I'm trying to get some feed back from the community so that we can develop a solid event registration system for churches. What are your event registration needs? Below is a brain dump of specifications that I have come up with. Comments? Suggestions? Other requirements? Do you want to highlight the most important/least important things from the list for your church?

Rob_Feature just tweeted about using SMS with Drupal, and yes, Rob, e-mail is the obvious answer. I don't know why I didn't think of that before!
OK, I don't know a lot about SMS, but am I correct that it's basically just email sent using a specific protocol on the provider's end? I know I can send what I believe is an SMS message to a phone if I know the email address for that account, which is usually something like the phone # @ the mobile provider's domain or some subdomain.
