PNWDS 2011

For all of the amazing people whom I have met at the Drupal Party, Brewpal, and the Meetup 'after party' saying you wanted to help with Summit, I salute you! And apologize that I have not tracked you down sooner. :) Now's your chance to join the volunteer pool and declare yourself available to help with Summit when we have fun and not so fun things to do throughout the next 9 months and/or during the event!

We are pleased to formally announce that Portland will host the 2011 PNWDS. We've got a great PDX organizing team lined up and the excellent support and guidance of the Seattle and Vancouver teams.

We hope to host the Summit in October and will make a date announcement when we secure a venue. Until then, please contact sarah_p or myself if you'd like to get involved or have any questions.

Organizers, Pacific NW Drupal Summit 2011 in PDX

A quick update on the Pre-Organizing committee meeting that we had a week ago. We had a good turnout both virtually, and in person. Currently we have enough interest to start forming a committee. We will be working on this, and hope to have everything settled by mid-December before agreeing to host the summit.
