Context sensitive Image-based quiz questions

Alright, so I'm not sure if this is the place to start but I am. I'm looking for feedback to a concept that's currently being kicked around my office. Every summer starts the "what neat thing can we give back to Drupal and improve our courses" discussion and this was the concept that I came up with this year. I'm trying to gauge what the interest level would be if I were to integrate this as a quiz question instead of just my purely stand-alone implementation that I had originally conceived:

Here's the use-case:
* You want to quiz / self-check students on a concept

Rating in Quiz

Hi,

It's the first time I use this module, so please forgive my ignorance. I have looked around about whether I could use rating or not in my quiz but I could'n find something relevant. I suppose that it's not straightforward, but since this module has a lot o features, probably I can do what I would like to do indirectly.

Le't say that I have the following quiz

Question1
1. Answer 11
2. Answer 12
3. Answer 13
4. Answer 14

Question2
1. Answer 21
2. Answer 22
3. Answer 23
4. Answer 24

Question3
1. Answer 31
2. Answer 32
3. Answer 33
4. Answer 34

How to programmatically access the "current quiz question" related information from within the quiz module?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a LIFELINE feature for the quiz. For starters, it will display live twitter feed related to current quiz topic. I am using Quiz 4 module. I have created a new question_type, that will allow adding extra fields and store additional fields information in a separate table.

Multi-language support status

What is the current status of multi-language support in Quiz ?

According to [#285570] should be fixed. But when looking at the code in quiz.module in 6.x-3.4, I don't see any reference to language. So it seems that it was dropped in Quiz 3. In Quiz 4, language is only used when copying questions of a translated Quiz.

I'm specifically interested in random selection of questions using a taxonomy term. I'm working on a patch for Quiz 6.x-3.4 to handle multi-languages (ie. node's language) and i18ntaxonomy in _quiz_get_random_taxonomy_question_ids(). So I wonder if there is a ongoing effort for multi-languages support that I can join or if I should fill a new issue for this.

Here is my patched version of _quiz_get_random_taxonomy_question_ids().

Daily Quiz

Hi,

I started working on an additional module for Quiz. It automatically creates a new quiz node every day to provide a Daily Quiz on a site. The daily quizzes uses randomly selected questions. They all share common settings defined in the Quiz Configuration page. The module also provides a daily quiz page inviting the user to play the quiz every day. It also informs him/her of the score required to pass and the time limit (if any). Once a user has passed the quiz, the page contains it's results summary. Otherwise, it provide a link to the daily quiz for the day.

Combined with the userpoint module, it can also be used as incentive to get site members to come back everyday.

It is hosted on http://ur1.ca/ovtd but I would like to publish it to drupal.org.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Note: I shortened the project URL to avoid triggering the spam filter.

Go to next question only if answer is correct

I am using the quiz module. The thing, I want the user to enter the answer to a short question which will be matched and the "Next" button will become active only if answer is correct. The quiz should only allow a user to proceed only if the answer to the question is correct. How do I do this? And I need to do it fast, before 9th March. If have done a bit of module development in Drupal, so just basic directions will do. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Regards,
Sandip Dev

Feature reques for quiz 4

Feature request

may i ubmit a feature request - i think it will be helpful if Quiz will have advanced reports with various statistical variables.
As i see here http://www.questionpro.com/results/ there are great options to automatically render:

1) frequency analysis, including percentage and answer cout per every question's variant
2) key statistical analytics, including Mean, confidence interval, standard deviation, standard error, AVERAGE balanced assessment

i guess that some of these is posible via Views, but dont see how to implement Delphi method for example

Survey module

Hi Quiz Developers,

I've been looking into the possibility of using Drupal to host surveys for Market and Social Research projects, similar to apps such as Limesurvey, SurveyWriter and ConfirmIT. Quiz seems to be the module that is closest to what I need however it does lack some necessary functions. These are (in no particular order):

    Drupal based music education site

    Hi All,

I'm in the process of producing a web-based tutorial for music students to introduce them to computer music making. I'd be very interested to see your comments and suggestions for improvements regarding the content, presentation & whatever really.

The site is Drupal 5 using Asset for media, Lightbox, Quiz amongst others.

Please don't tell me to upgrade to Drupal 6 - it's in the pipeline but not till the next funding round.

    thanks in advance

    Marcus
