Alright, so I'm not sure if this is the place to start but I am. I'm looking for feedback to a concept that's currently being kicked around my office. Every summer starts the "what neat thing can we give back to Drupal and improve our courses" discussion and this was the concept that I came up with this year. I'm trying to gauge what the interest level would be if I were to integrate this as a quiz question instead of just my purely stand-alone implementation that I had originally conceived:
Here's the use-case:
* You want to quiz / self-check students on a concept
* The concept could be expressed as a multiple choice question but is more engaging if it is visual
* You have an image and want to quiz the student on a part of the image you are presenting them
* You want to give feedback / points based on which part of the image they select as corresponding to a certain concept
I've done some quick mock ups of the concept. The first one would be what it would look like when building the question (1 color representing right and the other wrong answers, if there is such a thing). The second would be what a user taking the quiz question would see. And the third would be what they might see on a feedback screen.
Again, these are very rough but any feedback is much appreciated. I'll be creating this one way or another for other context sensitive feedback so if enough people are interested in this being a type of quiz question I can certainly whip up the integration.
