Based on the success of the first Libraries Summit at this past DrupalCon, there's going to be one next year at DrupalCon Minneapolis 2020 as well!

The planning team has started meeting and we're looking for your input on what sessions we should have. In Seattle, we had great sessions talking about topics like decoupling and content management, as well as some meaningful breakout sessions on topics like security, accessibility, and events management. So what should we have in Minneapolis?

There's going to be a Libraries Summit at DrupalCon Seattle!

We've started brainstorming and planning but we want your ideas too. Is there a topic you're particularly interested in? A module or 3rd-party integration you think would be a great demo/workshop? A cool project you've heard about or were involved with that might make a great case study? I'd love to hear them.

Which day would be a better day for the planned meet-up where Jamaican Drupal users and developers can pitch Drupal to Librarians?

May 18 - Tuesday
May 19 - Wedneday
May 20 - Thursday

And is 6 PM a good time?

Can last for two hours.

We had a great turn-out with about 20 librarians representing a good cross-section of both institutions and areas in and around Chicago. The discussion was so engaging that I totally forgot to take a picture!

We had a wonderful turnout of close to 20 librarians from all parts of the Chicagoland area. Knowledge and skill-level ran from seasoned veterans to people being introduced to Drupal for the first time.

This may be early but since I just registered for ALA in Anaheim (actually last Friday to take advantage of the deep discount) I thought I'd see what people thought about organizing something related to Drupal for Libraries.

Maybe a BoF (Birds of a Feather) session or something similarly casual (and fun).

It'd be great to get together.
