TL;DR -- Drupal 8 Toolbar code improvements are moving along. Let's discuss contrib DX improvements, propose solutions and build them.

Near the end of 2012 we updated the Drupal Toolbar with a mobile first design approach.

We accepted many followups as the cost of getting this improvement committed to core. I'm happy to say that a large number of these, including the most pressing, have already been addressed.

Top issues T-10 days to feature freeze are..

We are in the final month before feature freeze for Drupal 8 and there is so much to get done! So I thought I'd try and gather people together for a 2-day D8 code sprint right here in Vancouver. The dates I have in mind are Friday November 16th and Saturday November 17th, though I've not yet fully confirmed the venue(s).

He's working through some pretty big architecture options, and the community has been awesome about stepping up and supporting this initiative - so huge thanks to you all for keeping so many balls in the air!
