Meetup

February is here and we haven't had the time to organize anything in January. This Thursday, join us for the first Shanghai Drupal Meetup of the year! We'll be here to answer any of your questions and we'll make sure everybody learn a thing or two during this sessions.

Chinese Simplified was recently added to Localize.drupal.org, so this time we will focus on localization (l10n) and internationalization (i18n):

• How to install and set Drupal in Chinese,
• How to modify Drupal translations,
• How to build a language package and how to collaborate,

And we're back with one more Drupal meetup! Weather is getting damn cold and we feel the need to gather in the warmth of our meeting room to talk Drupal. This time we'll dig a bit deeper in the topics we previously introduced: Performance tuning and Packaging. We'll also let you have a round of questions and answer about theming. Below are the details of what we planned:

1. Theming QA; you will have 20 mn to ask questions about theming; how to override Panels display, how to have separate style for specific pages... Just ask, we'll answer!
2. Packaging Drupal - Part 2; Makara Wang will keep on introducing tools and methods to package Drupal (drush, install profiles, Features).
3. How to speed up Drupal - Part 2; previously introduced by Makara Wang, I will keep on introducing ways of speeding up Drupal (Boost, MemCache, APC, Varnish, load balancing).

As usual, SPEAKERS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE OR PROPOSE SESSIONS. May you be new to Drupal or a confirmed expert, we are eager to ear from locals.

First, sorry for all the Drupalers around that didn't get to have any meetup for the past couple months; it's just we've been (very) busy and did not get much time left for doing anything but eating and sleeping.

We're already through with the hot-as-Satan's-armpit days in Shanghai and are now "enjoying" the rainy season. I say: time for a Drupal Meetup.

We're going to change thigns a bit: we'll hold that meetup on a weekday just after work and we'll keep our presentations as short as possible (10 to 15 mn). We'll see what happens.

第六次上海drupal用户聚会召集
经过前几次drupal聚会上的演讲及交流，不知前来参加的drupal用户们是否有所收获。
这周六，我们打算趁着8月的尾巴，组织上海drupal用户的第6次聚会，地点依旧在raincity studios上海办公室，时间依旧是下午13：30。
这次聚会我们安排了一个主题为"AHAH,dynamic forms in Drupal-AHAH，drupal的动态形式"的演讲，演讲之后的时间还是留给各位做自由讨论。
