NYC July Meetup Finalized

Start:
2007-07-24 19:00 - 21:00 America/New_York

Thanks to Ivan's efforts and the generosity of <a href="http://fastcompany.com/>Fast Company, we will be holding the next Drupal meetup at 7 World Trade Center. The meeting room is big, it has a projector, and there will be wi-fi available. The venue also offers 360 degree views of the city, but we don't care about that!

Date: Tuesday, 24 July 2007
Time: 7-9PM
Location: 7 World Trade Center
Special Requirements: YOU MUST CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE COMING BY 4PM ON MONDAY. *Update (If you missed the deadline, Ivan will be able to sign you in until 7pm when he heads upstairs.)

Please reply to this post with your full name to confirm your attendance. If you do not confirm by 4PM Monday, you will not get in. This is a very easy but important step. We need to have a list to the front desk security by this time. Also, bring some form of photo ID in case it is needed.

When you arrive, go through the turnstiles proceed to the C elevator bank and press 29 on the keypad. I will be available before 7PM to help everyone, but please try to arrive on time. If you have any issues, give me a call at 718-877-8494.

I believe Ivan will be talking about the Drupal project that Fast Company is working on with Lullabot. Please feel free to suggest additional topics or projects that we should focus on.

July 20th Group Meeting *UPDATED*

Start:
2006-07-20 18:00 - 20:00 Canada/Pacific

Pencil in July 20th at 6pm for our next monthly meeting!

Location: Bryght Offices, Suite 203 - 525 Seymour St., Vancouver [Google Map]

Colin Chudyk (aka chud) from Vision Technologies is giving us an overview of the Category Module:

The category module allows you to structure your site into a tree-like hierarchy of pages, and to classify your dynamic content, all within one seamless interface. It is built upon the foundations of the core book and taxonomy modules, and it provides all of the functionality of these two modules, and much more, to help you in customizing the navigational experience of your Drupal site.

July meetup timing

Hi all. Hope to see a bunch of you down in Seattle starting tomorrow morning. There have been some questions about when the July meetup will happen.

Please suggest some times (which Thursday?) and discuss here what we want to demo, what questions to get answered, etc.
