Camp and Community trivia?
Hey folks, it's your friendly neighborhood DrupalCamp marketing writer here!
As I work on site copy, it's occurred to me that there could be some cool/interesting history and trivia about our community and its camps. I see that we have a wiki page for drupalcampnyc history (er...well, now I can't find it again...), but more a chronology.

Thank you Charles Novik for pointing out this great resource: http://www.printrunner.com/default.aspx?ID=71
PrintRunner offers services to make us 500 stickers 4"x4" in size in under $100 (not counting shipping costs).
I would like to get us authentic new york city drupal user group stickers. Something we can identify with and help spread out the word about our DUG. Charles is going to send me his design for the graphic and i'll then edit this post to include it. This is intended to be the first draft and I'll be happy to receive new design suggesions submissions to improve our representation.

Do you have something you want to learn in an upcoming meetup, knowledge you would like to share, cool ideas, or suggestions? Post your thoughts here and we'll try to integrate them into the next meetup. I'll make sure to stay on top of this thread though it may get pushed down over the course of the month.

Thanks to Ivan's efforts and the generosity of <a href="http://fastcompany.com/>Fast Company, we will be holding the next Drupal meetup at 7 World Trade Center. The meeting room is big, it has a projector, and there will be wi-fi available. The venue also offers 360 degree views of the city, but we don't care about that!
Date: Tuesday, 24 July 2007
Time: 7-9PM
Location: 7 World Trade Center
Special Requirements: YOU MUST CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE COMING BY 4PM ON MONDAY. *Update (If you missed the deadline, Ivan will be able to sign you in until 7pm when he heads upstairs.)
Please reply to this post with your full name to confirm your attendance. If you do not confirm by 4PM Monday, you will not get in. This is a very easy but important step. We need to have a list to the front desk security by this time. Also, bring some form of photo ID in case it is needed.
When you arrive, go through the turnstiles proceed to the C elevator bank and press 29 on the keypad. I will be available before 7PM to help everyone, but please try to arrive on time. If you have any issues, give me a call at 718-877-8494.
I believe Ivan will be talking about the Drupal project that Fast Company is working on with Lullabot. Please feel free to suggest additional topics or projects that we should focus on.
