Read moreA report on the first Drupal session for Jamaican Librarians
Hi everyone,
Just attached a report on the last Drupal meet-up sponsored by my Department for Jamaican librarians. The Jamaican community interested in learning Drupal is so far small in number, but should grow.

We'll be having our Chicagoland Drupal Library BoF on Friday, Sept. 25, 2pm-4pm at the Offices of the Metropolitan Library System (224 S. Michigan) in Chicago.

We'll ask people to present projects they're working on and we'll field questions on problems and approaches to implementing Drupal. All levels of knowledge from expert to beginner are welcome.

There are two session proposals tagged for libraries: http://paris2009.drupalcon.org/category/session-free-tagging/libraries. There's also a session proposal I found (and maybe others I missed) that isn't tagged for libraries, but is quite relevant to libraries: http://paris2009.drupalcon.org/session/porting-biblio-cck. And there's lots of other great session proposals.
