Backing up drupal database
Question lang po sa mga webmasters,
What is your prefered way to backup your site's Drupal database? I started out with HeidiSQL but it became unstable exporting the database over 5MB large. I then switched over to using Phpmyadmin however noticed a restriction on the import stating max 10,240Kib (im assuming that means approx 10MB?). My backup is now over 9MB and approaching the 10MB mark. Will this pose a problem? If yes, what do people use to backup their drupal database?

Hello all:
I've created some Profile module fields and added/enabled Author Pane module. Next, I've position the Author Pane in one of the blocks. I'd like to know how I can add the Profile fields within the Author Pane module. There a author-pane-block.tpl.php file I'm looking at. I need to know what variables represent the Profile fields.
Thanks, Jun D!

Hi All,
Ive got some spare time in the upcoming days and I thought of brushing up a little bit my knowledge on Drupal. Currently, Ive been using just the stock theme Garland that comes with Drupal core and would like to spend the time learning some basic tweaks and/or modifications to themes. Simple things like changing colors, modifying the main window width and block widths, adding some basic cliparts (like borders, bullets, etc) to the theme.

Hello all:
Its been quite a while since I posted or replied. Pasensya na po at medyo nawala ako sa eksena.
Actually I haven't used Drupal of late. It was only when I got a web project where I felt Drupal's strong points matched the clients specifications that I decided to go Drupal. In the course of working with Drupal, I've stumbled on a discovery on how to implement Google AJAX slide show on a Drupal theme.
The details are in my blog-site, http://jundolor.blogspot.com/2009/05/using-google-ajax-slide-show-on-dru....
I hope that this could be of help to anybody out there...

Filter Views
hello sa lahat,
by default, ginagawa ng views is display nya po yung result fields/nodes.
pano po ba gawing default lang po yung filter widget form() instead na idisplay nya yung mga fields/nodes?
by the time na may input na yung user sa filter widget form then that's the time lang nya i-display yung results.
TIA!!!

Alas,
Many people have pinged, e-mailed, and verbally abused me (in a modest way) to give 'em some tips, tricks and trade secrets that I hesitantly share to anyone deemed unworthy of my attention hwahaha.
Well I wouldn't consider them secrets since the tools and techniques are just there laying around.
So in lieu to the demand, I'm giving a free training session on "Quick and Easy Drupal development". Whether you're a crazy bun, or just someone who loves to travel from one spot to another (like me!), we'll make sure that you get to do webdev magic real soon.
