Tracking Employee Time Off
Does anybody know of an module that allows employees to request vacation/personal/sick days?
I suppose it's straight-forward enough to put something together with workflows, actions, triggers, etc... but I'm a bit surprised it doesn't already exist. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong keywords?

I just took a new Drupal site live.... and have two reasons for posting about it here:
1) While there is nothing technically advanced or unusual about this site, it was built in only one Saturday (for the most part). If we have any new members show up after the free Drupal training earlier this month, I thought they might be interested in seeing how a basic site like this can be put together so quickly. If anybody would like a walk-through, let me know.
2) I thought a lot of members of this group would be interested in TEDx and want to invite you all to come!

The Free Drupal Training held on Saturday was wildly successful--36 people signed in, but we put away 40 chairs. I want to thank Michael for his leadership and for instigating this event and making it happen.
I also want to thank the DrupalCorn members who attended and worked hard during the second half of the workshop; several people told me how much they appreciated being able to get immediate assistance as they worked through the intricacies of installing XAMPP/MAMP and Drupal, then getting a local site going.

Where is everyone located?
Trying to get a better sense of where all the iDug members are located across the state (GMap and Location modules could pair up and help us visualize this - SummitDweller, did you work with these two modules on your geocaching site?).
I live in Des Moines and work in Ames.

Hi all,
Happy 2010 and may the second decade of this nascent millennium bring you, well, what to wish? Much prosperity and may you achieve a state of Zen! :)
This is a pretty exciting time to be involved with Drupal; it's the hottest content management system on the planet. Quite cool to be involved, and I'm looking forward to a great year with the iDug group. And here's a (few) free beer(s) for Michael Hofmockel for all his efforts in keeping the group alive in 2009.
